dc.description.abstract	The article is devoted to the issues of forming the general cultural competences of cadets of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Teaching annotation and abstract writing of a specialized original text is considered as means of forming the general cultural competences. Training and controlling capacities of annotation and abstract writing activity are examined. Special attention is paid to such forms of original text processing as compression and decoding.	ru_RU
